SELLER / SCOPE
TANIT PEDALS is the commercial name of GENTLEMEN RISE, a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) with share capital of €8,000. GENTLEMEN RISE is the seller responsible for THE FACE orders, delivery and after-sales service, and the controller of personal data collected through this website.

PRE-ORDERS / PAYMENT
THE FACE is offered in limited production batches. A pre-order reserves one pedal from an upcoming batch; it is not an immediate-shipment purchase. The product page states the current estimated dispatch period before payment.
The current price is €399. Payment is collected in full through Stripe at checkout. Any taxes collected by TANIT PEDALS, delivery charges and the final total are shown before the customer confirms payment. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy terms; TANIT PEDALS does not receive or store full card details.
After successful payment, the customer receives an order confirmation by email. No order is accepted until payment is confirmed. TANIT PEDALS may reject and refund an order affected by an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, unavailable delivery destination or duplicate order. THE FACE is limited to one pedal per customer unless TANIT PEDALS agrees otherwise.
To correct an order or request cancellation before dispatch, contact us immediately. A pre-order cancelled before dispatch will be refunded to the original payment method. Once dispatched, the returns terms below apply.
PEDAL + PLUGIN OFFER
Each purchased THE FACE pedal includes one permanent THE FACE plugin licence at no extra charge, for activation on one device. This offer concerns THE FACE plugin only. Plugin delivery is digital and separate from pedal shipping.
The plugin is currently in private beta and is not available for immediate public download. Your included licence and download instructions will be emailed when the release version is ready, after beta testing. Purchasing a pedal does not grant immediate beta access. The plugin release date is still to be announced; confirmed compatibility and activation requirements will be published before release. Test checkouts do not create an entitlement. The offer does not reduce your statutory withdrawal, refund or guarantee rights.
For standalone plugin purchases after beta, the introductory price is €39 for the first 30 days from public release, then €59 regular price. The 30-day period has not started. These standalone prices do not apply to the licence included with a pedal or to approved beta participants’ permanent complimentary licences.
SHIPPING / DELIVERY
THE FACE is currently estimated to begin dispatching in early 2027. This is a production estimate, not a guaranteed arrival date. If the schedule changes materially, affected customers will be informed by email and given the options required by applicable law.
Available destinations, delivery charges and any carrier estimate are displayed during checkout. Tracking information is emailed when available. Risk of loss passes to a consumer when the customer, or a person designated by the customer, physically receives the goods.
For deliveries outside the territory in which taxes are collected at checkout, the customer may be responsible for import VAT, customs duties, carrier handling charges or other local fees. These charges are not included unless checkout expressly states otherwise. Customers should check local import rules before ordering.
RETURNS / WITHDRAWAL
Consumers in the European Union generally have 14 days from physical delivery to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason, subject to statutory exceptions. To exercise this right, email contact@tanitpedals.com before the period expires with the customer's name, order number and an unambiguous statement that the customer is withdrawing from the purchase.
After notifying us, the product must be returned within 14 days to the return address supplied by TANIT PEDALS. Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, the customer pays the direct return cost. The customer may inspect the pedal as they would in a shop but may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and operation.
For a statutory withdrawal, we refund the payment, including the least expensive standard outbound delivery charge offered, within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise without additional cost. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or proof of their return, whichever occurs first.
Customers outside the European Union retain any mandatory rights provided by the law applicable to their purchase. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

2-YEAR PEDAL WARRANTY
TANIT PEDALS provides a two-year warranty on new pedals, including THE FACE, from the date of delivery. It covers manufacturing defects under normal use. For a covered fault, we will repair or replace the pedal at no charge.
The warranty is provided by GENTLEMEN RISE / TANIT PEDALS, whose contact details appear above. To request support, email contact@tanitpedals.com with your proof of purchase and a description of the problem.
If THE FACE arrives damaged, is faulty, or does not match its advertised description, contact us promptly with the order number, a description of the issue and, where useful, photographs or video. Do not return the pedal until return instructions have been provided.
YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS
This pedal warranty is in addition to your statutory rights. It does not replace or limit the legal guarantee of conformity, protection against hidden defects, or any mandatory consumer rights applicable to your purchase.
For purchases governed by French consumer law, the legal guarantee of conformity applies for two years from delivery of a new pedal. Defects appearing during that period are presumed to have existed at delivery unless proved otherwise. Repair or replacement must be free of charge, within 30 days of the request and without major inconvenience. Where the legal conditions are met, you may obtain a price reduction or terminate the sale. Any legally required extensions or renewals of the guarantee remain applicable. Necessary conformity updates are included where applicable. These rights are exercised against GENTLEMEN RISE.
You also retain the French guarantee against hidden defects under Civil Code articles 1641 to 1649: an action may be brought within two years of discovering the defect, with a choice between returning the item for reimbursement or keeping it with a price reduction, subject to the legal conditions. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.
PRIVACY / DATA
TANIT PEDALS processes only the information needed to operate the website, answer messages, manage newsletter subscriptions, prevent abuse, process payments, fulfil orders, provide support and meet legal obligations. Depending on the interaction, this may include identity and contact details, order and delivery information, correspondence, consent records, transaction references and basic technical security data.
Processing is based, as applicable, on performance of a contract, steps requested before a contract, legal obligations, consent, or TANIT PEDALS' legitimate interests in securing and operating its service. Payment and transaction data is handled by Stripe; newsletter subscriptions and contact-form delivery are handled through Brevo; website hosting and infrastructure providers process technical data needed to deliver the site.
Data is retained only for as long as needed for the stated purpose and any applicable accounting, tax, warranty, dispute or security period. Newsletter data is kept until consent is withdrawn or it is no longer needed, with limited suppression information retained where necessary to respect an unsubscribe request. Contact-form submissions are not added to the marketing list.
Service providers may process data outside the customer's country under appropriate legal safeguards. Depending on applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent at any time. Requests can be sent to contact@tanitpedals.com. EU individuals may also complain to the CNIL or their local data-protection authority.
No advertising or audience-measurement cookies are intentionally enabled on this pre-launch site. If non-essential cookies or analytics are introduced, the policy and consent controls will be updated first.
THE FACE / CUSTOMIZER
The web customizer processes the image you choose in your browser to create a pedal-ready FACE image. The customizer's Fuzz and Volume effects are preview simulations only and are not included in the downloaded FACE image.
Your customizer session may be remembered locally on the same browser or device until you use RESET or clear the site's browser data. TANIT PEDALS does not receive the selected image through the customizer. Do not use material that you do not own or have permission to process.
LAW / DISPUTES
These terms are governed by French law. A consumer who normally resides in another country keeps the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded in that country.
Please contact TANIT PEDALS first so we can try to resolve a complaint directly. Information about the competent French consumer mediator will be published before live sales begin. This does not restrict a customer's right to use another remedy available under applicable law.
