SIX DECADES OF FUZZ
60 YEARS LATER.
1966
A simple fuzz idea that changed guitar forever.
2026
THE FUZZ FINALLY HAS A FACE.
Choose it. Upload it. Play.
THE SCREEN IS PART OF THE INSTRUMENT
Turn it up. The face shifts from cool tones into angry red.
Add fuzz. The image splits, duplicates and glitches apart.
Your guitar signal pushes the face sideways with your playing.
ANALOG HEART
A simple, efficient fuzz circuit built to get loud, dirty and alive.
Extra output level so the pedal has room when you want to push harder.
Built-in pickup simulation keeps the fuzz input behaving naturally even after other pedals.
THE FACE / WEB CUSTOMIZER
Choose an image, frame it for THE FACE and build the screen directly in your browser. Preview the Fuzz and Volume reactions, then download a clean pedal-ready image for transfer over USB-C.
AFTER THE CUSTOMIZER
Your finished FACE file is ready for the pedal. The transfer is just USB-C + copy/paste.
Connect THE FACE to your computer using USB-C.
Open the THE FACE drive on your computer.
Drag or copy your downloaded FACE image onto the pedal.
Changing faces? Delete the existing image first, then copy the new one in.
Your downloaded image is intentionally sideways. Do not rotate or edit it. THE FACE displays it correctly.
QUICK FAQ
Delete the image currently stored on the pedal, then copy the new downloaded FACE image onto it.
That is intentional. Leave the file exactly as downloaded — THE FACE displays it correctly.
No. They are preview simulations only. The downloaded pedal image stays clean.
Yes, on the same browser and device. It stays stored locally until you press RESET or clear the site's browser data.
RHYTHM / LEAD / BASS

THE FACE / ALSO IN YOUR DAW
THE FACE plugin brings the visual fuzz concept into your recording setup. The pedal remains a standalone hardware effect; the plugin runs inside compatible music software.
Each THE FACE pedal purchase includes one permanent THE FACE plugin licence for one device at no extra cost. The plugin is currently in beta. We will email your licence and download instructions when the release version is ready, after beta testing. Pedal purchase does not grant immediate download or beta access. The plugin release date is still to be announced.
